23-Mar-2006 -- This was the second confluence that I attempted during my visit to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. From Fort Worth, I drove through Granbury and Glen Rose, behind several infuriatingly slow drivers (Texas is a large state; why do people drive so slow?!), and then on route 220 towards the small town of Hico. On the outskirts of Hico, I took 9th Street (past Hico High School) to Magnolia Street. Magnolia Street turns to gravel, and runs 0.18 (about 300 meters) north of the confluence.
I took one photo of the confluence area from this point, but wussed out and didn't cross the fence to venture any closer, because I saw a shed and some farm equipment nearby, and didn't feel like finding out what Texans thought about trespassing. (At the far left side of my photo, you can see the forked tree photographed by the previous (successful) visitors.)
