09-Sep-2006 -- After a technical assistance on a rubber estate near Bettié, we were coming back to Abidjan: as the Confluence seemed close to the road, we tried to join it.
Coming from Adzopé, we turned on the right side in direction to Boudépé. We crossed the village and stopped about 2 km later. Then we parked the car and used the small tracks made by the smallholders to go to their fields: after some trials (we had to turn round and go back three times), we took the right track and arrived near a field of young cassava we walked round: we had to enter 10 meters in fallow land to reach the confluence 6N 4W. As we were looking for another way to enter the bush, Edouard de Rostolan arrived first, joined by Jean-Paul Mériguet and myself.
If somebody else wants to visit that Confluence, it is important to inform the chief of Boudépé Village.
