Após um planejamento utilizando-se imagens de satélite do Google Maps e mapas topográficos em escala 1:50.000 do IBGE, fizemos a confluência um dia após o Natal de 2008.

Saímos na parte da tarde da cidade de Avaré, onde passamos o Natal, e através de estradas de terra municipais chegamos a aproximadamente 1,3 km da confluência, de carro. O grupo foi composto de sete pessoas, sendo que três permaneceram no carro, e quatro (dois adultos e duas crianças) chegaram até a confluência.

Após caminhar 1,3 km em uma trilha no meio do reflorestamento de eucaliptos, na direção aproximada da confluência, chegamos ao final do reflorestamento. Margeando alguns metros reentramos na mata e chegamos até a confluência, que ficam poucos metros adentro. Como podem ver pelas fotos, atualmente a confluência se encontra dentro da mata reflorestada, que tornou a paisagem bem diferente daquela encontrada pelos primeiros visitantes em 2004.

After some planning using images of satellite of Google Maps and IBGE topographical maps (1:50.000 scale) we reached the confluence one day after Christmas 2008.

We left the City of Avaré by car in the afternoon, and through country roads we arrived at approximately 1.3 kilometers far from the confluence. The group was composed by seven people, and three remained in the car.

After walking 1.3 kilometers through a track inside the eucalyptus reforestation, we arrive at the reforestation border. Bordering some meters we reentered on the bush and we arrived to the confluence, that it is few meters inside. As one can see in the pictures, currently the confluence is inside of the reforested bush, which is very different of the first visitor’s findings in the year of 2004.
