03-Aug-2012 -- At the end of July 2012, holidays in Italy at Lago di Ledro, close to Lago di Guarda. And close to the confluence 46N 11E.

With the most courageous members of my family, we go by car towards the village of Cavedine. While following the GPS, we pass through vines, corn fields, apple trees, olive-trees and we arrive on a small gravel road which goes up towards the mountain and the confluence. At the beginning of this road, there is an open gate and a panel indicates “access with authorization only”, but it does not say the authorization of who. I thus give myself the authorization and we go ahead with the car on a stony, sinuous and steep way.

After 2 km, we park the car and we follow a path in the forest. There are high pines, mulberry trees and much vegetation. There are wild cyclamens. Our GPS guides us towards the confuence, but we approach a very stiff slope and a cliff. At a place where the slope becomes very steep, we reach the point, but there are too many trees; after 10 minutes, we still don't manage to get all the zeros on the GPS.

The landscape is completely hidden by all these trees. It is a pity because the mountains of the area are really superb. But anyway it is a nice point to visit.
