07-Jun-2014 – That was the third CP in our journey this day after 53°N 102°E. The confluence point near Balagansk town turned to be unusually simple. By the way, the road from Zalari to Balagansk is very scenic: uphills, downhills, beautiful views to the Bratsk sea and distinctive red hills. We figured to turn left before Balagansk, come up to the buildings in the field and continue our way afoot. Our pictures from Google Earth were wrong – in the reality there was a great high-voltage power line and a road going right to the confluence (less than 50 meters).

For sure, this was the easiest confluence in that day out of four. It's very strange that no one had visited it before us. Finally at 8 pm we set off towards 54°N 102°E, which has been visited before.
