01-Aug-2020 -- During our summer holidays along the coast of the North Sea, I took the chance to visit some confluence points. The story continues from
53°N 6°E visit #11.
We came from north by takin the road Provincialeweg and neared the CP 53°N-07°E by passing the small town Stadskanaal. We followed the GPS by taking Onstwedderweg and crossing the A. G. Wildervanckkanaal. Finally the road Ter Maars took us very close to the CP. I parked the car at 103 m beeline to the CP. I realized that the confluence point is located inside a field of maize. So I just had to take the driveway to the field an to go to the point. But I didn't want to damage any single plant so I decided to solve this visit without all the zeros on the display. It was possible to walk a some meters on the field, because the first few lines of plants were grewing quite puny. I took the pictures at a distance of 82 m from the confluence point 53°N-07°E.
This visit took place under best weather conditions and was done quite fast. Nobody was asking for my doing, just one or two cars passed by. Later that day we visited the very impressive fortress village Bourtange, around 13 km east of the confluence point.
