16-Jul-2021 -- While in the Telluride area, I decided to revisit this Degree Confluence point, located nearby. I had already (successfully) visited this point in May 2009, and remembered the hike being very strenuous, so this time I decided to cheat by not visiting the point on foot, but instead just flying my drone over it.
From Sawpit, I drove up CR58P (the side road, climbing up the hill) and parked at a turnout at [37.99618,-107.99261]. Then, at a trail junction at [37.99619,-107.99360], I kept right, because I wanted to look at the old mine entrance, and because I wanted a good place - not too far in elevation below the Degree Confluence Point - to launch my drone. (If instead, you want to hike to the Degree Confluence Point, then you should turn left at the trail junction.)
Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
