30-Mar-2023 -- While driving from Waterbridge (near Bendigo) to Mildura, I made a detour to visit this Degree Confluence Point - last visited more than 21 years ago, in early March, 2002. Back then, Victoria was apparently in drought, because the lake (Lake Tchum, also, apparently, spelled “Tychum”) was dry, and the visitor, David Thompson, was able to walk to the point.
Today, however, the drought has long gone, because the lake is full again. Walking along the western edge of the lake, I could get no closer than 54m (+/- GPS error of 2m) from the point. However, I flew my drone over the exact point, and took aerial photos from there.
