  35°S 142°E (visit #4)

#1: The confluence point lies in a bare farm field. (This is also a view to the North, towards Parallel Road, 200m away.)

(visited by Ross Finlayson)

01-Apr-2023 -- Driving from Mildura, Victoria south to the Grampians, I made detours to visit two Degree Confluence Points along the 142 Degrees East line of longitude. This point was almost a carbon copy of [-35,143] - just to the East - that I had visited two days earlier: It also lies in a bare field, just southeast of the junction of Parallel Road (which follows the 35 Degrees South line of latitude) and Meridian Road (which follows the respective line of longitude). The only difference is that this point lies about 200m from each road (rather than 100m), and that the ground at this point is slightly undulating. Apart from this similarity, the point is quite unremarkable.

Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
