21-Sep-2001 -- The confluence point of 47°N and 19°E can be found in a huge agricultural land. The eastern part of Hungary is a big lowland, called Alfold in Hungarian. In these areas apart from the woods are cultivated land, where they are growing industrial plants.
In this area mainly corn and onion are grown. The exact confluence of 47°N and 19°E is inside of a corn field. The corn was already harvested, when we went there, so on the pictures you can only see the cut stems in the earth.
Just one mile from the confluence on the 51st road is the Restaurant Szalki, where we could rest our tiredness by having a good lunch.
