05-Aug-2003 -- The confluence is close to the top of a mountain that runs down towards the sea in a spur sort of shape.

There is a dirt track surrounding the confluence (the road linking Achilleon, Aghios Demetrios, Fanos and Glypha). It comes to closer than 1.5 km of the confluence at two points, the second (from the SE) being 1200 m from the confluence and not as steep as the approach from the N.

I was not dressed with the right clothing / boots for 1200m walk, and rather hoped the dirt road would be closer than this. Will try again soon.
