15-Jan-2005 -- It's been more then 6 months since Geocaching group Team_EoN visited any confluences so we decided that it was about time.
This would be our sixth degree confluence visit, and as usual nothing would really go as we had planned it.
After having made a quick stop at an old church ruin in Floda we set our GPS (Garmin eTrex) to N58E13, and started to make our way towards the goal.
Just a week a go, the south of Sweden was hit by some really bad weather, with wind powerful enough to tear down trees.
It made for some scary landscape to drive through, with big old trees leaning in over the road, leaning on telephone wires...
As we are not using any kind of terrain vehicle we parked 1300m away from the confluence and stared walking.
Some good trails led us within 300m of the confluence and the last stretch was some easy hiking through light brush.
The confluence is located at a fairly open area so good GPS reception is easy to get.
A couple of pictures later we were on our way back, and 35 min, (and a quick footbath!) later we were back at the car.
Enjoy the pictures!
