09-Oct-2002 -- After having done 28°S 120°E the evening before, we spent the night bush-camping just off the main road. The next morning we set off early, passed through Sandstone, and continued west to the next confluence.
This confluence is very near the Sandstone to Mt. Magnet road. This stretch of road is sealed but the old gravel road runs parallel and this allowed me to get to within 1.07 km of the confluence. An easy 15 minute walk to the NNE brought me to the spot. I hurried back in an attempt to make it to 29°S 118°E before nightfall so I could actually make it to two confluences in one day.
