(visited by Jeroen van Kempen and Rogier Leeflang)

26-Mar-2003 -- Planning to visit this confluence we sailed along the coast from the north to the south, a trip of 3 days would lead us to the infamous Golfo de Penas, where we would leave the Pacific to explore the Canals of southern Chile.

The weather was extremely rough, wind gusting up to 50 Knots. We decided not to go to the confluence and continue as fast as possible through the Golfo the Peñas. For people wanting to go in the future, make sure you have good weather otherwise you will not be able to see the coast.

I have added some pictures of our trip through the cannels of Chile, for the idea.
