13-Apr-2021 -- My name is Ioannis Pilides, I'm from Panama and I work for Royal Caribbean International as First Officer onboard the Serenade Of The Seas.
The Serenade Of The Seas was traveling today from an area located on the west Coast of St. Vincent and The Granadines to Bridgetown, Barbados. We created a ship's route with a waypoint at 13N 060W.
The ship is officially engaged in humanitarian assistance to the island of St. Vincent due to the Eruption of La Sufriere Volcano. The ship is returning to Barbados to load provisions, water and other cargo and will return in a few days to St. Vincent to continue with the humanitarian assistance.
The confluence visit took place on April 13th, 2021 at 145133 local time. We missed the perfect confluence for only 5 meters. The confluence is located at sea, there is just water around this point. I've attached a picture of what was seen at the moment of the visit...a floating Sargassum which is abundant in the area.
Coordinator's Note: This visit is marked as incomplete as it doesn't meet our photo requirements.
