14-Jan-2010 -- I have been hoping to document this confluence for some time. On January 14, 2010, I was at my wife's cabin at Dillon on the Buffalo River First Nation, which is situated at the southern end of Peter Pond Lake. Her nephew, Rene B., stopped by and offered to drive me out there in his nice new Cadillac Escalade. I grabbed my camera and GPS and away we went.
We drove on to the lake at the west side of Dillon and headed in a northerly direction. Luckily, there was little snow and good, thick ice. We arrived in the general area and got out to walk the final portion to pinpoint the Confluence. BINGO! We found N 56 W 109, took some pics, made a few notes. Rene was able to bring up the Confluence on his OnStar instrument in the truck. As evening was approaching, we left the area feeling quite good about the whole affair.
