04-Feb-2020 -- After having discharged our cargo of 26,000 tons of sugar in Vancouver, we did not find any cargo to load in this port or near by, so our disponent owner decided to send us empty down to Mexico, in order to load a cargo of steel wires in coils in Mazatlán (Mexico).

Steaming along the peninsula of Baja California today we passed the confluence 27N 115W.

So far as I can see from my ship, Baja California is not very populated and almost everywhere desert. However, land is well visible. What can be seen, is generally the area of the Bahía de Tortugas, Bahía de San Cristóbal and Bahía de San Pablo, bordered in the North by Punta and Monte Eugenio, between Bahía de Tortugas and Bahía de San Cristóbal, we see Pico Hermoso, and the southernmost elevation is Pico San Pablo. All not so easy to distunguish at this distance, but the pictures show the following:
