07-Aug-2021 -- This is the fourth of 10 CP visits made during a 2 week trip to Sweden.
The previous is N63 E17.
The next is N63 E15.
Today would be the first time we would manage to visit 2 CPs in a day. Actually we were having a
relaxing holiday and were distracted by other things so this was an unusual thing to happen. My original
plan was to drive to within 2.5km of the CP and hike from there but a quick check on google maps
showed a route that would bring us to within about 400m of the CP - actually on a gravel track my
GPS didn't even know about (perhaps relatively new?). The downside was that the road was really poor,
luckily with only 3.5km of it to negotiate.
We parked the car (N62.99727 E16.00075) about 390m from the CP. We headed off, crossed a small stream,
and sometimes hiked through wet terrain,
fortunately with enough hillocks to step on to, to avoid getting really wet boots.
The usual photos were taken and the return trail negotiated again without getting wet boots.
This again was only the second visit of this CP, and the first for 19 years. Where are the Swedish
CP hunters ?
