07-Jul-2010 -- Story continues from 34°N 119°E.

We caught a passing bus back to Shùyáng, which dropped us off near Qīngshàonián Square. From there, we took a taxi back to the bus station, where we bought tickets on the 1 p.m. bus to Suīníng (睢宁县). We then went to the air-conditioned fast-food restaurant on the ground floor of our hotel, next door to the bus station, for lunch.

We arrived in Suīníng at 2:30 p.m., which meant we had sufficient time to tackle a second confluence in one day. We hailed a taxi to take us to Zhāngháng Village (张行村), which was only about 11 kilometres northwest. We first travelled north along a busy road until we were due west of the confluence, then turned right, down a quiet, tree-lined road that led directly to Zhāngháng Village.

Our lady taxi driver parked outside a shop just a few dozen metres from the confluence, and we got out and proceeded to the second house along a dirt side street. I tried to get an all-zeroes reading in front of the southeast corner of the house, but to no avail. The GPS said the confluence was one metre on the other side of the wall. As there was no one at home to let us in, there was nothing left to do but to take the north-south-east-west shots from in front of the house.

Before we left, we attracted the attention of a few curious locals. They were able to tell us that the owner of the house was a teacher named Mr Zhāng (张), and that he would be home later in the day. One of the locals took the copy of the previous visitor's report I had brought with me, and said he would pass it on to Mr Zhāng when he got home.
