26-Aug-2002 -- Part 1/3 of confluence hunting on 26 August 2002: After our fist confluence hunting (62/29) we developed an appetite for more conquests. We chose the last unvisited confluence point in the eastern part of Finland and also decided to visit 2 other points situated nearby.

We started our journey at 10:00 (UTC) travelling trough Karvio, Outokumpu and Ukonvaara. Using the topographical map we had on the area, we were able to determine the point close to a local farm. On our way we were confronted by an unfriendly German Sheppard who kept guard on a farm next door. After assessing the situation, we found an alternative route bypassing the angry dog and finally we arrived to the farm.

The point is situated just 150 metres from the farm yard surrounded by dense vegetation. We reached it at exactly 12:22 (UTC).

After this conquest we pursued our confluence crusade to N64E30.
