#1: The confluence point lies among a grove of small thinly-spaced trees

17-Jul-2010 -- I had not originally planned to visit any confluence points during my brief tour of Australia's Northern Territory, because I was traveling with my 80-year-old mother, and did not want to leave her in the car for an extended length of time while I visited confluence points. However, while driving from the Stuart Highway to Litchfield National Park, I was surprised to learn that 13S-131E was just 300 metres away. Furthermore, a dirt road - heading North from the main road - takes you within 100 metres. So I decided to make a quick visit.

The confluence point lies among a grove of small thinly-spaced trees. One of the trees nearby has a small termite mound at its base. It was only afterwards - on inspecting my photos - that I realized that there's also a rock cairn there, with a pipe sticking out of it.
