08-Apr-2012 -- Leaving the abandoned station homestead of Bandya the dog Massie and I headed north east along the Lake Wells Road to Duketon. Bandya was about 100 kilometres from Laverton and 150 kilometres north east of Leonora.
I had seen this confluence hadn't been visited and I was touring near Laverton so I thought I would give it a go.
From Duketon it was north along the Urarey Warren Bore Road all the way to Jerrys Bore. This was a really good wide track. There is a couple of tracks heading west from the bore. This track is well formed all of the way except for one section of 100 metres where I lost it.
Spinifex laden with seeds ran up the middle of the track so I put the "Bra" on the vehicle in front of the Bull Bar, to deflect the seeds and vegetation from the radiator.
The confluence was just over 13 kilometres off the track to the north. The country was sandy spinifex country interwoven with broad acres of woodlands. It was lucky I made it the whole way without having to cross any woodlands as the run ended up being an easy one, not reflecting the unvisited status of the confluence.
