28-Dec-2001 -- Trangie, NSW
Continued from 31ºS 150ºE.
This is the last day of our 14-confluence Christmas trip on which we have 11 out of 11 so far.
Coming from Coonabarabran, we took the Oxley Highway into Gilgandra and then on to Collie where we turned left towards Trangie.
The confluence is just a few kilometres north of Trangie and we were able to park the car about 600 metres from the confluence. Vicky didn’t want to do the walk, so Ada stayed in car with her while Jamie and I did the confluence.
The confluence appeared to be on some grazing country, but the only animals we saw were dozens of kangaroos.
