09-Mar-2002 -- Cuthero Station, NSW.

Coming from Wentworth in NSW, we headed up the Silver City Highway to Broken Hill through some spectacular grazing country around the Annabranch of the Darling River System.
We drove a few kilometres past our intended turn-off to refuel at Coombah before heading back down the Silver City Highway to take the road to the Popio and Tor Downs Stations. I had previously marked waypoints in my GPS for key intersections based on my newly acquired ‘Australia Unfolded 2’ CD, so we were generally able to stay on the correct track which took us virtually right up to the confluence. Just a few hundred metres away from the confluence, there is roughish track coming off the main track to Menindee which goes right up to the confluence.
The confluence is situated in some fairly typical grazing country.
