21-Dec-2011 -- As a part of my return visit to Tifariti in liberated Western Sahara, I decided to visit some confluence points in the remote north-east of Mauritania. This continues the visit to 24N 10W.
It is a desert area, devoid of any signs of humans, except for an odd track and some dry grass. The desert is mostly dead flat sand with some rocks and an occasional sabha (dry salt lake). Access is easy with a 4-WD vehicle.
