#1: North, the piste goes past those 5 hills to get to another cone marker at the Tahort dune passage and Djanet

(visited by Chris S)

01-Mar-2007 -- 24N 9E in southern Algeria is an easy place to get to; in fact there was a little cairn there already.

It's on the far side of the Erg d'Admer dunes which are a barrier on the route to Djanet from the Southwest. A couple of kms to the East is the actual Erg and to the North are 5 cone mountains which are a handy landmark if coming from Tiririne well or Tam and heading for the Tahort dune crossing to get through to Djanet.

Coordinator's Note: This confluence visit is registered as incomplete only because the submitted photos do not have the minimum resolution as defined by the DCP Photo Requirements.
