23-Nov-2006 -- We are Surveyors and work for a Libyan Oil Company. From our oilfield in the Sahara Desert this confluence point is approximately 52 km due east. It took us about 40 minutes to reach this point.

The point is located approx 1.5 km south of the Zilla-Marāda blacktop road. Coming from Zilla, follow the blacktop for 93 km; you normally see km marker posts every km, so stop at km marker no. 93. From there head south for approx 1.5 km and you will reach the point.

From Marāda drive 132 km and like-wise stop at marker post no. 132 and head 1.5 km south. The Zilla-Marāda road is an excellent 2 lane blacktop and driving times from Zilla and Marāda are 90 minutes and 120 minutes, respectively.
