We drove back to Kāzuŏ (喀喇沁左翼蒙古族自治县) and found the same pancake shop where we'd bought our breakfast, and bought more for our lunch. We supplemented the pancakes with another, more substantial lunch at an expressway service area restaurant, where Andy worked his magic on the waitress as usual.
The rain stopped just as we parked the car 160 metres from the confluence, on a track between cornfields. Just like the previous one, this was another muddy barefoot confluence. We made our way through the very tall, wet, corn plants to the confluence. Andy sat on my shoulders and sang the whole way. He had the best view.
We took a photo of the GPS, then the views to the north, south, east and west (not much to distinguish them), and finished off with the customary team photo. It started raining again just as we got back to the car. Very lucky!
