13-Nov-2016 -- Of the three Sardinian 9E confluences this is the most challenging. Having checked out previous visit reports I decided to approach from the east. This means I don't have to cross farmland or pass close by houses.
Having driven for 30 minutes without seeing another car I found a parking place close by where the access track joins the public highway.
It is a pleasant stroll along a rocky track. You could get almost the whole way in a 4x4 (and by stolen Astra about half that distance). There is one wall to climb and the vegetation around the sought point is a bit thick and prickly.
There was a forest here but now clear felled and lots of Strawberry Tree (Arbutus unedo) bearing fruit. Frankly not really worth the bother of picking unless you have the necessary for fermentation and distillation into Medronho.
