24-Aug-2014 -- From Powder River, WY, I turned south on a county road and immediately saw a No Trespassing Sign - Irwin Ranch. Uh-oh. Luckily, on the left side of the dirt road a rancher and his wife were branding the livestock. I pulled over and asked the wife if they were affiliated with the ranch. Sure enough I was talking with Sue Irwin and I explained what I was going to do. She said it was okay for me to go in. I traveled on the dirt road and continued onto the ranch. I pulled over at a point and started walking. I stumbled upon the carcass of a cattle on the way over there.
