04-Aug-2022 -- My time sightseeing in the Ithaca (Finger Lakes) area was cut short by afternoon thunderstorms, so I decided to revisit this point enroute to Rochester (my destination for the evening). I had already visited this point during my ‘round the US’ tour in May 2011; remarkably, nobody else had visited in the 11 years since. This is surprising, because this point is extremely easy to visit; it is only 0.1 miles from a road. Also, a path between two farm fields (the northernmost field growing corn; the southernmost field growing soybeans (I think)) takes you to the small patch of forest that contains the point.
The point looks exactly the same as it did 11 years ago. I wanted to fly my drone over the small patch of forest, but light rain was falling at the time.
