06-Dec-2002 -- After returning to the Confluence at 44N 107E I still had a bit of spare time, so thought I'd look around. I headed west on the road to Dalangzagdad, for the three 6 hour journey to town. After a couple of hours curiosity got the better of me and I punched in the co-ords of this confluence. I found we were headed straight to it, around 20km distant.

In the end the road passes only a few hundred metres north of the actual confluence, so I was able to drive to the location. The weather was still fairly bitter, being around -15, it was late in the afternoon, and the temp was again plummetting - I think it went down to -23 that night which is about average.

The place was just as bleak as the other confluence, though had a little less snow.
