12-May-2024 -- This is the 4^th out of 7 reports visiting confluence points during a one-week bicycle trip from Budapest to Podgorica. The story starts from 47°N 19°E and continues from 45°N 19°E.

I crossed from Croatia into mountainous Bosnia. I had to climb several mountain passes on gravel tracks to approach this confluence point. Therefore, it took me almost two days to reach this confluence point, located in the highlands of eastern Bosnia.

On confluence day, I started from Vlasenica (20 km north of the confluence). The confluence is at the very end of a long, single-lane county road leading to a tiny village named Džimrije-Devetok. When I arrived there on a Sunday around 10 AM, the village seemed to be deserted. No human, no dog, no cattle. At the end of the village (250m from the confluence), an animal fence crossed the road. I shouted “hello” and when nobody answered I opened the gate and went on the meadow where I found the confluence. Interestingly, the meadow is scattered with little rock mounts. I don’t have a clue what the reason for this is.

After my visit, I crossed another mountain pass and reached Sarajevo in the evening, where I spent the night.
