12-Aug-2009 -- Our experience here was much like that of previous visitors. The confluence is just south of a dirt road that fortunately comes very close to the confluence and the MT/WY boundary. Like the second visitor, we found the confluence to be north of the fenceline which likely functions as the state boundary. The road was dry but there were some large ruts from when it was wet. We had a 4WD so it was easy to get in. There were some interesting birds in the immediate vicinity of the confluence: a loggerhead shrike and a golden eagle, as well as the more common and widespread red-tailed hawk.
