03-Oct-2009 -- Tour group consisted of eight members and our main purpose of the trip was to travel through beautiful Mongolian Gobi and to find N45-E107 point. Fall season is the appropriate time to travel to the Gobi because during the summer time weather is really hot and it is hard to find water.

We left the Ulaanbaatar city in the morning to Choir city. From there, we went to the place called “Ikh Gazriin Chuluu”, which has a huge rock in the middle of the Gobi. As we get closer to the place, we could see large sharp rocks from far away. After arriving at the place, we could see many rocks with different shapes and we took pictures of it in order to keep them as a memory.

Next morning, we woke up early and had our breakfast. Then, we traveled to the point through Gurvansaihan suom. In order to find the point, we went without a road, so one of our car’s tire broke down. After changing the tire, we continued our trip.

We arrived closer to the point in the afternoon. After walking around for a while, the point N45-E106 was found. We have put the iron latch, which was brought from the city and piled rock at the point. Gobi was a place that has many different kinds of stones and one of the members of the group found agate. We took pictures of all four directions as well as GPS for confirming the point and as well as the members of the group.

Next morning, we went to the place called “Tsagaan suvarga” and left for the city. Our traveling group consisted of Mr. Damiran, Mrs. Lkhagvaa, Mr. Boldbaatar, Mrs. Mendbayar, Mr. Khurlee, Mr. Bayaraa, Mr. Turmandakh and Mr. Gankhuyag. Our trip continued for 3 days.
