29-Jul-2020 -- During our summer holidays along the coast of the North Sea, I took the chance to visit some confluence points. The story continues from
52°N 5°E visit #22.
By coming from west across the Breezanddijk, we neared the CP 53°N 6°E on the Autobahn A7. We passed Sneek and took the exit No. 26a Tjalleberd. At the roundabout we took the first exit direction North. After crossing the autobahn we continued following the GPS and reached the village Luxwoude from North. After a first drive through it was clear, that the CP was not very close to any road. I checked the distance from the road "De Plasse", West of the CP: about 700 m. But I would have to cross different pastures, fences and water ditches. So I decided to start my walk 950 m from SSW of the CP. This starting point is located inside the village area and it is allowed to park the car direct there. At the beginning I just had to use a path along a water ditch at its left side, overgrown with grass. After passing the second farmhouse the path switched to the other side of the ditch. From there it's still a distance of 600 m to the CP. Now more and more nettles were growing on the way. It was a very fierily treatment for my legs! At a first try to reach the CP on the shortest way I experienced that a water ditch inhibits the further approach. So I walked along this ditch until I reached the gate to the pasture. From there it was a distance of 176 m to the confluence point. On the picture with the view to the north you can imagine the mentioned gate near at the right side of the trees. On the pasture was very lush grass growing, but no cows grazed on it. The pictures at the confluence point 52°N 5°E were taken easily. Afterwards I took the same way back.
No farmer or inhabitant was in the nearer surrounding. But on the next day I remembered very intensive this visit, enforced by my still burning and tingling legs!
