05-Aug-2020 -- During our summer holidays along the coast of the North Sea, I took the chance to visit some confluence points. The story continues from
53°N 7°E visit #12.
We came from Oldenburg and neared the Confluence taking the Böseler Straße. About 2.5 km before the spot we passed through Petersdorf. Later the road is named Hauptstraße. This road passes the confluence point around 150 meters southern. Furthermore I realized that it was located in the middle of an maize planted field. The plants were growing quite dense. They could be damaged, going through. So I had to find a better approach to the spot. Short before the crossing with the Garreler Straße I took the small paved road Aumühlen at the right, passed a farm and turned again to the right on the road Am Bakenmoor. After a few meters I found an access to the the field. On the left side was a stable with a silo next to it. But straight on I saw nothing else but maize. I stepped out of the car and watched my GPS with eagle-eyes: still 125 m to go. As to see in the first picture, there were still some meters distance to the plants. The first lines of plants were quite light planted. So it was possible to reduce the distance to 99 m and to make the pictures for the visit of the confluence point 53 °N 8 °E. Caused by the time of the year it was not possible to get the picture with all the zeros on the display.
After this visit we continued our trip direction east, directly to the next confluence point 53°N 9°E visit #13.
