25-Feb-2005 -- Visiting this confluence means one stop during our journey throughout this wonderful country New Zealand. We prepared ourselves with tramping boots, sun-glasses and sun-hats and lots of sun-lotion. You never know how wet it will be or how long you will sweat in the sun.
To start our search, we had to undress down to the swimsuit and to stow away everything in our back-pack because we had to cross a very cold, fast flowing river. We went on through deep fern-bushes, over fallen trees, stumbling in deep holes from time to time. Finally we succeeded and enjoyed the landscape. There are some really interesting, very curious birds around there.
