12-May-2005 -- I am a forester who works on the Nagagami Forest which is around Hornepayne. I found out about the confluence project from my boss who was looking for one north of Iroquois Falls. When I started looking at the site I noticed that there was a confluence within the boundaries of "my" forest. So I knew I had to go find it. I have been waiting for the snow to melt and for a good day to go look for it.
Fortunately the roads are good and the roads are actually built almost right to the confluence. I could drive to within 160 metres of the confluence and then had a pleasant walk through a little bit of plantation and then standing forest to get to the spot.
I did this after supper on a beautiful spring day, but even though the weather has been wonderful there is still ice on the puddles in the forest.
