14-May-2005 -- FIRST ATTEMPT TO 37S 65W::
Encouraged for the success in DCP 37°S 64°W, we go ahead by 18 Route across Quehue Town and a valley with the same name, very picturesque and quiet.

We were very near to the sunset, so we knew that the darkness could hinder to get our goal: our chances were very low to be successful.

Meanwhile we went to the target, a beautiful deer crossed the route in front of us and it allowed us to take photographs and video. 18 Route crossed longitude 65 but we were at 2.3 km of the DCP from the south without possible access: fences and closed forest did not permit to go by the meridian.

Then, we began to go around the camp in order to find some car access that permits to reduce our distance to DCP. We went back on18 Route until an intersection with a path to the north. An extraordinary sunset was off the daylight.

This path drove us to 37 parallel where, casually, there was the main gate the camp “El Chillén”, which is an official Hunting Place (Coto de Caza). Due to this reason, we believed cautious to get back with daylight other day, because it was possible we were confused with illegal hunters, common people in these places. It was not easy to explain the difference between to hunt confluences and to hunt animals, inside a hunting place. Probably we could get permission with the owners from Santa Rosa City for other day. We were at 3.7 km to the DCP. We went to sleep to General Acha City thinking in the next confluence tomorrow: 38°S 65°W --------------

14-May-2005 -- PRIMER APROXIMACIÓN AL S37 W65::
