04-Jun-2005 -- On a sunny Sunday we started from Chernigov, heading to the north. The first part of our travel was easy and bustling because we used suburban trains to reach the city of Shostka. How great again, feeling freedom from anything, riding our bikes to Novgorod-Severskiy. This is a city of ancient history, beautiful nature, and the motherland of our previous president... Crossing our lovely Desna river, breathing crystal clear air and observing unlimited fields and forests from the high points of our road.

A great experience!

We reached the confluence point located 25 km from Novgorod-Severskiy. A nice place at the middle of the field was used by local cowboys to give a drink to the nearest village's cows. We've written a message for the next visitors, and buried a bottle with it in a small elevation near the point.
