18-Sep-2005 -- On Sunday, we started the journey at 7:05 am from Islāmābād after our hectic yesterday re-visit to 33N 73E and 33N 72E. This time Jawad Ahmad my colleague in IT department is with me.
The way was very scenic. We reached at Taxila cantt. at 7:41 am driving 39 km on GT road (N5). When we reached Harīpur the road joined to the Hasan Abdāl-Abbotābād road, we turned right towards Abbotābād. On the way, there were fields of vegetables and fruits side by side with a small river. The GPS was telling us the point across the river. We tried crossing the river from Sāri Sāleh, but the water was too noisy and harsh because of the yesterday rain. There an old farmer and his son helped us. They lead us to a village Bihārī Bāndi Bridge. The village road was very small and unpaved. We travelled through the village and went to the hills. When the CP remained only 300 meter far, we stopped the car and climbed to the hills. Some boggy passages caused some loop ways. But at last, we reached our destination just 1.5 hours after leaving the car. The return was extremely difficult for us (who sit in front of the computers 8-10 hours daily).
At 1:00 PM, we started the journey to our next destination
34N 72E.
