#1: The spot

(visited by Stephan Theriault and Shane Hunter)

26-Nov-2006 -- Coming back from a camping trip at Chili beach with some friends, I noticed on the map that there was a confluence quite close to the road. My friend Shane and I headed for the bush as our long suffering wives waited at the car with the children.

The way there and back was very straightforward. The terrain was flat. There were heaps of blackboy plants which we made our way through. They are so named for their grass skirt-looking leaves and the spear looking shoot that stick out of them. We were gone less than half an hour and walked just over two kilometres altogether. An easy one if you want to have a go at a confluence.
