(visited by Federico Lecumberry, Rafael Grompone, Rafael Bernardi and Enric Meinhardt-Llopis) 29-Dec-2006 -- We start our trip to the deep Uruguay in Montevideo at 8.00AM. We took the route 5 in direction north. We went trough Canelones, Florida and Durazno departments. Then we took the route(?) 4 and at 1.00PM we arrived to Baygorria dam. After having lunch we continued to Grecco where we arrived at 5.00PM. And at 6.00PM started the last part of the trip to the point. The confluence is on the countryside, so we had to ask for permission to tresspass the fences of two "estancias" (ranchoes). We had to leave the car behind at about 200 meters of the confluence point and walk the last meters. |
