24-Oct-2006 -- Having arranged a holiday in Morocco visiting Casablanca, Fès and Marrakech, we checked on what Confluences might be achievable during the week, bearing in mind the fact that we were on an organised tour. About three were a realistic possibility with 34N 5W the most promising.
The plan was to get up early and visit the Confluence before breakfast, so that we could join the rest of the group for the tour of Fès. We managed to hastily arrange transport although the journey was very short and the point easily found on the outskirts of Fès.
As reported by the first visitors, the point lay right in the middle of a Riding School although the horses were still safely locked up in their stables. We took our photographs and were in plenty of time for breakfast and a fascinating tour of Fès.
Unfortunately, we did not have sufficient time to visit a second point in Morocco.
