20-Jan-2007 -- After visiting the Drale cattle market north of Kati, we drove on up the new highway from Bamako to seek out this degree confluence that was mapped close to the road. We parked by the road at 13°N and walked into the bush to the East.

In an area of quite dense trees/bushes we located the site about 14:00 hrs and took the obligatory photos. Not all sites yield themselves up so easily; but the odd scratch and the usual collection of grass burrs on clothing reminded us we had been there.
