O dia estava parcialmente nublado e o vento patagônico soprava forte. Deixamos o veículo e seguimos a pé.

16-Jan-2007 -- Starting from El Chaltén, on our way to Perito Moreno via Route 40, we visited this confluence since it is easy to access. A little more than 1 km off route 40, on a dirt road and in the middle of a desolated scenery of dry Patagonia. A region dominated by large extension of cattle pasture fields. This stretch of route 40 has many tourists on their motor homes, motorcycles and even bicycles from various countries in groups or couples.

The day was partially cloudy with strong wind. On of our vehicles stayed on the asphalt as we used the jeep to drive over thorny vegetation. At 350 m of the confluence it gets quite dangerous. We left the car and continued by foot. We crossed a dry lake and climbed a bit. As we approached the point we saw some stones left by previous visitors.

We registered our visit with some photos and placed some more stones before returning to our trip.
