07-Mar-2007 -- We decided to visit confluence 24N 43E on Wednesday, 7 March 2007 during our journey to Makka, because that Confluence was near to the road, only about 2 km away.
This Confluence is on the borders of `Afīf governorate in al-Riyāḍ region. We visited it at 3:00 p.m. and the nearest town to it is `Afīf, it is only 12 km away. The Confluence is in a mountainous area in the Najd region.
There are acacia and mimosa trees around, `Afīfa valley is close to it in the West and the North, and Umm al-Salm valley in the East. There are some mountains to be seen, as Ibqriyya in the East, Wrīkiy in the North, Ṣufrān and Aṣfar in the West, and Burqān Bkhītāt in the South.
