20-Mar-2007 -- It was the first day of spring and I was in Minneapolis taking my daughters dog to the University of Minnesota Veterinary Clinic for an appointment. I had some spare time and it was time for a couple of confluences.
This was an easy confluence to locate. I was able to park in front of the confluence house at 1945 Polaris Place. I was able to get as close as 19 meters against the fence. I took pictures from the middle of the road including a panoramic shot. The trailer previous visitors had noted looked like it hadn’t moved in quite some time.
Picture #1 is a panoramic shot taken with a Kaidan 360 OneVR lens. It’s a conical lens that captures a circular image and then using software, unwraps the image to make a panoramic shot or a QuickTime movie from the raw image. Picture #2 looks north. Picture #3 looks east. Picture #4 looks south. Picture #5 shows my GPS location.
