28-Dec-1999 -- This confluence is especially
interesting, as it's located within Arizona's beautiful "Organ Pipe
Cactus National Monument", just 4 miles north of the US-Mexican
border.
A 53-mile long gravel road (Puerto Blanco Road) forms a loop within
the park. Fortunately, this road passes just 0.9 miles to the East of
the confluence point. If you park beside the road at this point, you
can reach the confluence with an easy hike: first across a small wash,
then across a small rocky ridge.
